I am Alex Ketner and I am currently an occupational therapy student at Boston University. Wheelchair Advance was created as part of an independent study to teach others as well as learn myself about wheelchairs. Wheelchair Advance is based on an exciting way of thinking, where the belief
is that everyone should have equal opportunities to live a full life. I hope that this website will act as an educational resource for individuals using a wheelchair and their families to learn about the many wheelchair parts and accessories that are available. Wheelchair Advance is meant to provide the reader with information to improve hopefully at least one aspect of using a wheelchair; that of mobility, function, comfort, or overall life.
